I was born and raised in Ireland. I did a four-year apprenticeship at the David Marshall Hair Academy, in Dublin, which was the first academy of its kind to teach Vidal Sassoon Fashion. After exceeding in my apprenticeship, I continued to work there for an additional three years before I came to America. “Passionate and Professional” is my motto. I truly love what I do and so my passion and precision shines through all aspects of my work. My consultations are of utmost importance to me. As a stylist, the most important part of my job is to LISTEN to each individual’s needs and wants, and help them maximize their natural gifts. Hair cutting and coloring (corrective color, color balancing, traditional color, and highlighting) are my areas of expertise. I like to keep up with the current and hottest trends and techniques.
Throughout my career I continue advanced training in intense programs such as: - Vidal Sassoon Academy, Dublin, Ireland - Bumble and bumble Design Workshop, New York - Unite Euro therapy, San Diego - Eurfora Global Connection, San Diego - Energizing Summit for professional hair coloring, LA - Wella professionals hair coloring studio, L.A. I am proud to say that I am the owner of La Mode Salon, my home away from home!

I am so blessed to have a career that I absolutely LOVE and that allows me to work with some of the most truly talented stylists from coast to coast. Furthermore, I have worked in San Diego, Boston and now back to sunny So Cal! Being Always right on top of the most current styles and cutting edge trends, I thrive on delivering that stop-you-in-your-tracks look to each person that sits in my chair. I specialize in Multi Dimensional Color, Multi Tonal Blondes, Color Correction, Layered Cuts and Beautiful Blowouts!

Healthy hair always wins! Crystal truly believes that anything is possible with the right hair care, any style can be achieved. You will always be educated on hair products and what best suits your needs to achieve your color goal ! In addition to coloring she has taken different advanced color education in the Wella Studios. And to stay up to date on current trends and techniques, crystal participates in Bumble & Bumble classes and Unite events.
Crystal very much enjoys precision hair cutting and is always going to new classes to further her education. She truly has the passion and love for the hair industry. Born and raised on an island in the South Pacific Garrett has always felt one with nature. Now a resident in Southern California, this Island boy still finds his influences on the beach cities alongside its coast. "It's easy to be creative living at a place so diverse. Hair comes in all forms, shapes and colors, just like we do."
So it comes as no surprise, that a son of a barber, cutting hair would come natural. Whether he's creating classic cuts and styles to more modern shapes and movement. A curly hair specialist Garrett is trained to work with many different hair textures. Garrett's passion for creative growth keeps him consistently researching & educating himself on all the current trends. A certified Wella colorist Garrett's talents also include custom color, highlights and natural Balayage. "As an artist my focus is to create wearable cuts and blend colors that contour and accentuate the face shape." Taking into consideration lifestyle and suitability.
At the end of each service Garrett strives to leave a positive impact on all his guests making sure they leave feeling confident, renewed & excited.
Cristina has over 10 years experience in the beauty industry. Before
coming to La Mode she was a premier stylist and color specialist at a
top salon in Seattle. She has advanced education in both hair cutting
and color, and is a balayage, foiling and blonding specialist. Most
importantly she loves seeing each person as an individual and giving
them the best service possible.
